Snetterton - BRCA National October 2008
After a good days practice on the saturday everyone was ready for a great days racing on the sunday, this wasn't going happen. From 8am till 8pm the rains came causing major problems for quite a few pilots. After fitting the new longer fork legs Derek and Chris were amazed at the difference it has made the way the bike goes. The bike felt a lot more planted on the the double and triple apex corners of the Tamiya Euro circuit.

Chris's problems started in the first round after water ingress into the speedo caused a DNF, the second round was cut short again with a dead steering servo. With the electrics failing the race was on to save the Championship, eventually in the later part of the first Final and the second final the bike recovered for long enough to get up to 4th overall.

Derek was flying round all day posting very good times in the wet, unfortunately his bike got a little too wet and started to fail as well halfway through the finals.

Ian stamped his mark on the Supersport racing getting 2nd place behind Steve Newey who was on the pace all weekend. Concourse for the weekend was also won by Ian with the JPS Norton bodywork painted by Chris Douglas.

Derek Did very well with the Fila Superbike getting a 2nd place behind the very fast Colin McCabe, with the points gained from this national Derek has moved into 2nd pace ahead of Dave Andrew in the BRCA series.

Aldershot - BRCA National September 2008
Chris Douglas was piped for FTQ by Roki Reed, only 1 second in it. Chris then went on to win the first final comfortably and got a third place in the second race due to a collision early on and some very nail biting times towards the later parts of the race. Final result was a second place and some valuable points for the series.

Dave had a bad day, troubled by electronic problems throughout. Dave eventually qualified sixth, just outside the A final. He still picked up some points but already has enough of a margin not to worry.

Derek had battled all day with Andy Carless and and was eventually given a fifth place after just missing out on Andy's fourth.
